The B9 generation saw the S4 return to its roots, ditching the supercharger for a single twin-scroll turbo. Like the larger V8s in the RS6 and RS7, the V6 uses a "hot inside V" configuration, with the turbocharger, exhaust manifolds, and exhaust ports all nestled inside the V of the engine. A ZF 8-speed automatic replaces the prior 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and this upgraded powertrain can take the S4 from 0-60 in just 4.2 seconds.
Power comes from a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, rated at 354 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system.just reduced $39,800.00
